Job Description
* Ensure proper planning and timely execution of project activities.
* Manage project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
* Monitor and track project expenses, implementing corrective actions as needed.
* Review invoices related to project spending and ensure financial integrity.
* Lead and supervise contractors and subcontractors as needed.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers and team members.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
* Ensure adherence to all contract terms and conditions.
* Resolve disputes and issues during the construction phase.
* Ensure construction work complies with building codes, regulations, and standards.
* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
* Oversee testing and inspection of materials and workmanship.
* Maintain proper documentation for regulatory compliance.
* Identify and mitigate project risks, including delays, safety hazards, and quality issues.
* Report regularly to senior leadership on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Competencies
* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
* At least 3 years of proven experience in construction project management, including supervisory roles.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and regulations.
* Experience managing budgets, schedules, and leading teams.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* PMP or similar certification is highly desirable.
