ICFO **Medical Optics group** is hiring **staff research engineers** for three positions related to speckle contrast optical spectroscopy (SCOS) for fetal health monitoring. Selected engineers will join our group to be part of a team to develop and test next generation SCOS modules working together with a Trans-Atlantic collaboration encompassing academia, industry and healthcare. This fast paced and high demand will deliver a unique multi-modal device to improve outcomes during delivery.
**Engineer 1**: Tasks will include optical engineering, design, test, validation and leading the collaborative aspect with other members of the consortium.
**Engineer 2**: Tasks will include identification and testing of new components, demonstration at the laboratory setting and benchmarking.
**Engineer 3**: Task will include software and firmware development, documentation, validation and OEM presentation.
