Job Title: Professional Affairs Manager, EMEA

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Professional Affairs Manager to elevate our scientific presence and capabilities at a regional level. You will plan and manage the development of clinical affairs activity & programmes in the EMEA region, ensuring organizational objectives are met both regionally and locally.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Leading the KOL development programme to support the creation of a pool of new KOL speakers, advocates, and early adopters in local markets.
* Reviewing all EMEA 'master template' marketing and professional affairs content to ensure compliance with professional affairs protocols.
* Supporting local market teams to understand compliant content creation principles relating to professional affairs protocols.
* Partnering with the myopia team to drive thought leadership and elevate scientific credentials.
* Partnering with Global Medical Affairs to oversee abstracts submitted to conferences regionally.
* Partnering with brand marketing, and category and insights teams, to ensure market research and in-market assessments are conducted using the correct guidelines.
* Developing new marketing claims based on local research, clinical studies, and externally published papers to support regional marketing and professional affairs activity.
* Collaborating with global marketing and professional affairs teams to push scientific messaging relating to products, navigating legal, regulatory, and medical stakeholders.
* Reading and tracking global peer-reviewed articles on CLs, summarizing key messages in a quarterly regional update.
* Creating and publishing trade articles, advertorials, and non-peer review papers on clinical aspects of CLs, supporting brand marketing and professional affairs teams.
Your Skills and Experience
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years' experience in optometry or ophthalmology and advanced knowledge of medical writing and peer-reviewed content publishing. A PhD in Optometry is preferred.
You Will Possess:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in optometry or ophthalmology.
* Advanced knowledge of medical writing and peer-reviewed content publishing.
* Experience in compliance / quality assurance review.
* Experience designing and delivering training or education programmes to multilevel audiences.
* Experience delivering messages and presentations to large audiences.
* Strong business skills and interest in working in a commercial environment.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Excellent presentation, communication, networking, and influencing skills.
* Experience working in an office and team-based, fast-moving environment.
* Fluent English is critical; other EU languages are preferred.
