s reporting to the ALK Madrid Production Site Lead and will have interactions with local production site Management Team as well as the local Operational Excellence department representatives. Furthermore, the position will be the link with the Global Operational Excellence Director and the Business Improvement Managers of the rest of ALK Production Sites.
ALK Product Supply site in Madrid is a fully integrated production Site within the ALK network, manufacturing and packaging pharmaceutical products to be supplied for the majority of territories where ALK is present around the globe.
**Key challenges and responsibilities**
- ead selected cross-departmental projects and initiatives that may affect ALK Madrid production site, ensuring the execution of those on time and budget, and with the required quality
- evelopment of project charters - problem and goal statement, business benefit, scope, milestones, risks/assumptions
- evelops detailed project schedules with well-defined resource plans, identifying critical path items
- erform project planning, execution and reporting management activities on assigned projects
- nsure timely information to project stakeholders (Steering Committee) and project group members
- dentify, define and execute initiatives that will improve compliance, efficiencies, yields or throughputs
- oordinate Operational Excellence initiatives for ALK production site in Madrid, by directly leading initiatives or supporting main departments on the identification, definition and execution of them
- ead local roll-out of company methodology, processes, tools, templates and training related to Operational Excellence.
- romote spreading the Operational Excellence mindset at the ALK production site in Madrid
- rovide support to benchmarking that enables head-to-head productivity comparison between production sites in ALK and peers outside ALK.
- ctively participate in the General Operational Excellence network.
**Your qualifications**
We are looking for a person with background on Project Management and experience within one or several Operational Excellence disciplines (Six Sigma, TPS, Lean, etc.). You have ideally gained your experience in a production related environment within the pharmaceutical industry interacting both with management as well as shopfloor levels and have been in charge of leading/coordinating cross-departmental improvement projects.
You are focused on delivering results. You are always open to new concepts and tools and are constantly looking for new ways of challenging status quo. Your ability to communicate on all levels in the organisation are second to none and you actively manage stakeholders. Your analytical skills are widely recognised and your ability to engage people around you, gets people on board and motivated for making real and lasting changes.
- niversity Degree (Science or Engineering degree preferred)
- + years experience on Pharmaceutical GMP environment. Experience on aseptic production environment is preferred
- emonstrated capability of working with GMPs. FDA environment is desirable.
- emonstrated experience on managing projects, including technology transfer projects
- emonstrated experience on interacting with Management Levels on international environment
- omprehensive change management experience in a production environment
- emonstrated track record of creating significant and lasting improvements
- luent in spoken and written English
