Main Purpose:
We are looking for a Product Owner for our enterprise Asset management system, ULTIMO who will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering business and system requirements for our Terminals and Fluvial divisions.
Our Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system is ULTIMO and used to manage maintenance operations, technical assets, work orders, and inventory across the organization. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, the Product Owner ensures that ULTIMO roadmap aligns with operational needs, business strategy, compliance requirements, and user expectations.
The role drives continuous improvement, system optimization, and user adoption while ensuring efficient delivery of features and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Product & System Ownership
1. Own and manage the product backlog for ULTIMO, including backlog grooming and prioritization in collaboration with stakeholders.
2. Define product vision, roadmap, and priorities aligned with business objectives.
3. Translate business needs into clear user stories and functional requirements.
4. Ensure alignment between operational processes and system capabilities.
5. Incorporate non-functional requirements and technical debt (performance, security).
6. Act as the main point of contact for all functional aspects of the system.
7. Monitor the service level agreement KPI’s of the solution to ensure it performs as agreed
Stakeholder Management
8. Collaborate with business teams, IT, vendors, and external partners.
9. Gather and challenge business requirements to ensure value creation.
10. Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and user feedback discussions.
11. Communicate priorities, timelines, risks, and delivery status to stakeholders.
Project & Delivery Management
12. Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, testing, and retrospectives.
13. Prioritize enhancements, incidents, and change requests ensuring stakeholder alignment.
14. Coordinate testing activities and validate delivered functionalities.
15. Ensure successful implementation of new features and releases.
Process Improvement & Governance
16. Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.
17. Ensure system compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
18. Support data quality, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
19. Maintain system documentation, procedures, and knowledge articles.
User Support & Adoption
20. Support end users and key users on functional matters.
21. Coordinate training sessions and communication plans.
22. Promote user adoption and continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
23. Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Functional Lead, or similar role.
24. Proven experience in EAM system to manage maintenance operation like Hexagon, ULTIMO, Infraspeak.
25. Desirable: Experience working with [ERP / HRIS / CRM / Liquid Terminal Management System Liquid Terminal Management System / WMS / Finance Systems / etc.].
26. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
27. Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders.
28. Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
29. Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
30. Experience with backlog management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
31. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
32. Process mapping and documentation capabilities.
33. Data analysis and reporting skills are an advantage.
34. Ability to work in fast-paced and changing environments.
