We are currently seeking an experienced Head Sommelier for a seasonal position, with future opportunities.
Requirements:
* Certified sommelier or equivalent WSET Level 3 (preferred)
* Strong knowledge of French and New World wines, especially South and North American wines
* Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
* Team player, proactive, with a positive attitude
* Ability to work under pressure
* Fluent in English and Spanish, with confident communication skills
* Passion for personal development and working with people
* Ability to compose wine lists that maximize guest satisfaction and profitability
* Manage wine stocks, sales, and lists according to company standards
* Aim to meet sales targets and monitor stock rotation and profitability
* Establish and maintain relationships with wine suppliers
* Organize and manage wine administration effectively
