Customer Success Specialist – Central Europe

Location: DACH/Benelux (Remote-friendly)
Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer
Type: Full-time

We’re looking for a Customer Success Specialist – Central Europe to lead onboarding, support, and long-term success for our customers across the region. This is a high-impact, relationship-focused role for someone who thrives in delivering value, driving adoption, and ensuring retention and growth. A deep understanding of the football landscape is essential to guide clubs and federations in getting the most out of our tactical insights and analysis platform.


Role Overview

As Customer Success Specialist – Central Europe, you will be responsible for onboarding, supporting, and growing relationships with clubs, leagues, federations, and player agencies. You’ll work cross-functionally with sales, product, and marketing to ensure our clients realise the full value of Kognia’s platform, providing ongoing support, training, and insights that drive adoption and retention across the football ecosystem.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong relationship management skills with a passion for innovation in sport.

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding & Customer Activation

* Lead new customer onboarding and implementation across clubs, federations, and agencies in Central Europe
* Deliver tailored training sessions that match client workflows and maximise early engagement
* Develop success plans aligned with customer goals and timelines

Customer Relationship Management

* Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day support and strategic guidance
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships across technical and sporting stakeholders
* Monitor usage and engagement to proactively identify and resolve issues

Adoption & Value Delivery

* Ensure customers understand and extract full value from Kognia’s tactical insights platform
* Share best practices, performance benchmarks, and tactical applications to drive adoption
* Collaborate with product and marketing teams to deliver relevant content, updates, and feature rollouts

Retention & Account Growth

* Support renewals by demonstrating ongoing value and ROI
* Identify opportunities for upselling or expansion and collaborate with the sales team where appropriate
* Track customer health metrics and intervene proactively to prevent churn

Insights & Market Feedback

* Gather and share customer feedback to inform product development and market positioning
* Stay current with trends in football analysis, coaching tools, and performance workflows
* Represent Kognia at industry events, workshops, and demos as a trusted expert in football performance

Qualifications

* 3+ years in a sports company in a similar role or sports team
* Experience working with or selling to football clubs, federations, or player agencies
* Strong communicator and presenter with consultative selling skills
