The opportunity
As part of the EY GDS Core Business Services (CBS) team in Málaga, you will join a diverse and high-performing group supporting the firm’s operations. Within Finance, and integrated into the Accounts Payable function, you will play a critical role in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across financial processes, while actively contributing to the function’s transformation towards automation and data‑driven operations.
Your key responsibilities
- end-to-end processing of supplier invoices in workflow tools and SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- provisions, accruals and reclassifications
- Accounts Payable reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies
- vendor master data maintenance and updates in coordination with central teams
- month-end and year-end closing activities support, ensuring timely delivery
- employee expenses review and processing, including re-invoicing to clients where applicable
- Preparation and submission of regular financial reports to central finance teams
- Support external and internal audits, as well as tax inspections

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Minimum 6 months of experience in an accounting role, ideally within Accounts Payable
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Vocational training in Finance and Administration
- Solid understanding of Local GAAP, tax frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Good knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, and Power Pivot
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Automate, to support process automation and workflow optimization
