An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced S/4HANA Procurement to Pay Business Partner to play a pivotal role in the integration of new SAP S/4HANA systems within a leading organisation's Iberian operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on aligning technology with business processes, ensuring seamless implementation and optimisation of procurement strategies across both direct and indirect purchasing.
As an S/4HANA Procurement to Pay Business Partner, you will immerse yourself in every stage of large-scale transformation projects focused on optimising procurement processes. Your day-to-day will involve close collaboration with both local and central teams as you drive the successful integration of SAP S/4HANA into existing structures. You will facilitate workshops that bring together diverse stakeholders, translate business needs into actionable SAP solutions, oversee rigorous testing cycles, and ensure that all deliverables meet stringent quality standards. By supporting data migration efforts and providing hands-on guidance during user training sessions, you will help foster widespread adoption of new systems. Your ability to monitor progress, communicate effectively across departments, and champion change will be essential as you work towards delivering integrated solutions that enhance procurement efficiency across direct and indirect categories.
Among the most relevant responsibilities, you will:
* Lead the functional development of Source to Pay (S2P) processes within the SAP S/4HANA environment for Iberia, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
* Participate actively in all project phases from design through deployment, guaranteeing effective implementation that adheres to SAP best practices.
* Facilitate and guide Fit-to-Standard workshops in partnership with System Integrator teams, ensuring business processes are fully aligned with SAP standards.
* Translate complex business requirements into SAP language and vice versa, serving as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders.
* Identify, document, and validate all necessary Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Enhancements (WRICEFs), focusing on maintaining standard solutions wherever possible.
* Oversee testing activities including user acceptance testing (UAT), prioritising issues and tracking their resolution to ensure high-quality deliverables.
* Review and validate project outputs such as functional designs and training guides, upholding agreed quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure accurate system configuration within the S2P domain and validate related configuration documentation for compliance with project requirements.
* Collaborate closely with data teams to guarantee clean data migration and mapping for interfaces in coordination with business units.
* Support end users during training periods, fostering adoption of new processes and tools while monitoring progress and proactively reporting risks or deviations.
What you bring:
To excel as an S/4HANA Procurement to Pay Business Partner, you will bring deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA-driven procurement environments-particularly those involving complex transformation initiatives. Your background should include hands-on involvement in defining purchasing strategies for both direct materials and indirect services while maintaining a holistic view of how these decisions impact broader financial objectives. You will have demonstrated success in translating intricate business requirements into practical SAP configurations while guiding cross-functional teams through each phase of implementation. Your interpersonal skills will enable you to build trust among stakeholders at all levels-from IT specialists to end users-ensuring everyone remains engaged throughout the change process. A keen eye for detail combined with strong analytical capabilities will allow you to identify improvement opportunities that drive operational excellence.
