As Principal Game Economist at Socialpoint, you will shape the economy across three studios, serving as a central expert for portfolio-wide design. You’ll lead strategic economic design, mentor embedded teams, and develop robust frameworks to sustain engaging, monetizable player economies. You’ll blend advanced research with hands-on modeling to drive engagement and business performance, while elevating internal economy practices. This role offers high impact through cross-studio leadership and strategic economic initiatives.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Lead economic design across three studios and multiple games
• Diagnose economic health, design pricing and reward systems, and empower local teams to implement designs
• Collaborate with Lead Economist and Director of Economy to align portfolio-wide strategies
• Mentor game-level economy designers and PMs, building internal capability
• Build predictive models, run simulations, and design A/B tests to validate decisions
• Bridge cross-functional work with Product, Data Science, and Engineering across geographies
• Institute best practices and reusable frameworks for long-term economy management
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant quantitative field with proven senior/lead-level experience in game economies
• Strong Excel mastery; SQL, R, or Python experience is a plus for modeling
• Ability to influence and xpzdshu lead across studios without formal reports
• Deep interest in Free-to-Play mechanics and balancing monetization with player experience
• Experience with large-scale online, social, or multiplayer games (bonus)
