The Job :
We offer the opportunity to undertake a professional internship of at least 6 months at a world-leading company in tools, where you will experience first-hand the real working environment within a marketing team.
At Stanley Black & Decker, you will enhance your learning and carry out tasks related to your studies, allowing you to develop skills for a future career in marketing. You will be primarily based within the Trade Marketing team, who are responsible for maintaining and updating product lines in relation to customer needs, market trends, and competitor actions.
Additionally, you will also support the GCX (Brand and Communication) team with specific tasks to help develop brand needs for various product launches and provide communication support for their promotion across social media and offline channels.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Trade Marketing
1. Competitor analysis: price positioning and monitoring campaigns/promotions
2. Support and maintenance of e-marketing (Riversand)
3. Participation in the creation of catalogs and brochures
4. Creation and requests for technical data sheets
5. Collaboration with Product Managers on operational marketing tasks
6. Monitoring promotional activities by market
7. Data updates for the Iberian market: Spanish and Portuguese
GCX
8. Monitoring PLV (point-of-sale advertising) campaign implementations
9. Image requests (Bynder)
10. Creation of simple brochures in PowerPoint
11. Assistance with pallet assembly for trade shows
12. Management of shipping requests through the Impakta platform
13. Support in the creation of banners/signage
Required Skills and Competencies
14. Education: Master’s degree or courses related to Marketing
15. Valued experience: Previous work related to Marketing
16. Strategic thinking and results-oriented
17. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
18. Language 1: Spanish – high level
19. Language 2: English – intermediate level
20. Language 3: Portuguese – highly valued, but not required
21. Mandatory computer skills: Excel (formulas), PowerPoint (presentations)
22. Optional knowledge: Photoshop

23. Key relationships with all levels of the Iberian Organization, particularly with the Marketing, Sales, and Business Care teams
