Regional Commissioning & Transition Manager role at Endeavour. Inspired Infrastructure. Edged Spain has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Commissioning & Transition Manager. In this position, you will work directly with the Regional Operations Director, Regional Project Director, and Data Center Site Managers, being responsible for the planning and coordination of the commissioning for large-scale greenfield data centers and retrofit live data centers.
We are looking for someone who identifies, coordinates and drives improvements in inbound safety, quality, and productivity, working with the Operations Management teams to continuously improve the functionality and the safety in the Data Centers. The Regional Commissioning & Transition Manager needs to be agile, professional, and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment. The right person is trustworthy with confidential information, highly organized, self-motivated, has excellent communication skills, can think strategically, and works equally as well independently as with a team. Key Responsibilities
* Project Management: Creates and implements multi-facility, standards-based commissioning plans and schedules; Provides input on new and existing Critical Environment Programs; Communicates with business operations and construction managers; Manages regional short- to mid-term pipeline to inform resource planning; Liaises with internal construction managers and external general contractors; Maintains commissioning logs and checklists; Develops electrical and mechanical Functional Performance Test procedures and Factory Acceptance Test Procedures
* Design Phase: Develops and reviews the Owner\'s Project Requirements and Commissioning Documents; Writes Commissioning Plans and Programs; Leads stakeholder meetings and kick-offs; Creates project directories and aligns commissioning timelines
* Construction Phase: Manages Level 2–4 Commissioning Workshops and testing; Attends and reports on Factory & Field Witness Tests; Drafts test scripts, checklists, and observation reports; Conducts weekly commissioning and client meetings; Tracks progress and maintains documentation
* Acceptance Phase: Leads Level 4–5 Commissioning efforts; Analyzes and presents commissioning data to stakeholders; Prepares detailed reports and oversees Integrated Systems Testing
* Handover Phase: Coordinates training for operational teams; Reviews O&M documentation; Facilitates "Lessons Learned" workshops; Delivers the Final Commissioning Report
* Process Management: Follows all commissioning processes and escalates improvements to senior management; Develops standardized schedules and commissioning scopes based on contract requirements
* Reporting: Responsible for internal and external progress reporting for all projects during commissioning; Prepares commissioning test procedures and reports; Writes comprehensive reports with recommendations for optimizing building operations
* Vendor Management: Undertakes quarterly business reviews with vendors, produces project-specific commissioning RFPs, and manages external resources; Determines vendor KPIs and conducts lessons learned reviews
Skills & Requirements
Education / Experience
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant Commissioning experience within a data center or industrial environments
* Demonstrable ability to implement new frameworks, policies, and procedures
* Proven track record of managing and leading diverse multi-country teams
Specific Skills / Abilities
* Able to effectively lead and manage a team
* Used to operating at all levels of the organization
* Great at communication and influencing skills
* Fluent in English
