Department and therapeutic area description:
The BPA team supports the Spanish commercial organization in setting stretched
achievable objectives, pro-active planning and monitoring of business performance, as
well as identifying deviations and suggesting corrective actions. We bring objectivity
and transparency in making the right investments and allocating resources. We are also
focused on generating business insights and making decisions faster with increased
adoption of AI and digital tools.
What kind of tasks could you perform?:
● Perform monthly closing activities while providing accurate data and relevant business analysis to support monthly reviews and adhoc requests
● Support the Investment Lead in providing accurate data ensuring adequate ongoing monitoring and measurement of business performance, while business partnering with commercial teams to monitor their investments.
● Support the annual budgeting, rolling forecasting and strategic planning processes.
● Lead the standardization and automatization of internal processes within the BPA team by leveraging digital tools.
Program Requirements:
● University degree in Finance or Economics.
● Máster student related to the sector or internship score
● Availability to sign an internship agreement for at least 6 months (possibility to extend to 12 months is highly valued)
● High level of Spanish and English (written and spoken)
● Advanced proficiency in office tools and digital platforms
● Availability to work full-time
● Availability to start from July 2026, with the possibility to attend Novartis offices in Barcelona
What do we offer?
* Flexible hybrid work model: combination of on-site work offices in Barcelona and remote work
* Full-time internship schedule with flexibility: Monday to Friday, from 8:30–9:00 to 17:30–18:00, depending on agreement
* 6 months internship with possibility of extension up to 12 months
* Paid internship: €969.39 gross per month
* Company experience including onboarding training, supervision and continuous mentoring by specialized professionals, and ongoing HR support
