Ph3Role Overview /h3pTemporary Cellular Immunologist position within Almirall RD’s Molecular and Cell Biology (MCB) team focused on advancing drug discovery in medical dermatology by developing physiologically relevant in vitro and ex vivo immunological models and assays. The role involves designing and implementing functional assay strategies to characterize biologics—especially cell‑depleting antibody modalities—and supporting target validation and mechanism‑of‑action studies in immune‑mediated skin diseases. The position is to replace a team member on parental leave. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliCollaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and assess new therapeutic targets in in vitro and ex vivo models of dermatological indications with high unmet medical need. /liliProbe emerging methods for developing physiologically relevant cell and explant models of immune‑inflammatory and rare skin diseases, and characterize them using omics, spectral flow cytometry, and multiplexed immunoassays. /liliDesign and develop in‑vitro assays to characterize the function and mechanism of action of biologics, with a key focus on cell‑depleting antibodies. /liliDrive the understanding of the therapeutic potential of biologics. /liliPropose innovative out‑of‑the‑box solutions, critically evaluate data, generate testable hypotheses, and solve challenging interdisciplinary problems. /liliCommunicate effectively across several scientific disciplines. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliPhD with 3+ years of experience in Immunology or Skin Biology (minimum requirement; additional experience valued). /liliExperience with primary immune cell isolation, culture, activation, and assays. /liliBackground in human skin immunology; experience with skin cells or ex‑vivo skin biopsies is a plus. /liliProficiency in immunophenotyping assays such as spectral flow cytometry and ELISA. /liliExperience with assays related to cell‑depleting functions of antibodies (ADCC/CDC/TCE or other modalities) highly desired. /liliAbility to propose innovative solutions, critically evaluate data, generate testable hypotheses, and solve interdisciplinary challenges. /liliTeam player with strong communication skills across scientific disciplines. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
