Overview
Brand Manager Grey Goose South Cluster (6-months temporary mat cover) at Bacardi. Spain will be a key focus with strategic responsibilities to accelerate growth and lead the Altius strategy & execution to establish Grey Goose as a cornerstone of the portfolio in this cluster. Based in Barcelona (flexible options) with preferred fluency in Spanish.
Responsibilities
* Deliver brand performance targets in the South Cluster and manage external performance vs. competition.
* Lead brand building and commercial execution across Spain, Portugal & Italy, including WIKC & HotSpots, and ensure AVQPAP delivery of the brand.
* Act as the general manager of the brand, accountable for equity, portfolio & channel strategy, and profitable financial performance; collaborate with Market/Cluster, Regional, and Global teams.
* Collaborate with Shopper Marketing Managers to secure best-in-class in-priority-channel execution (on-trade).
* Drive consumer, shopper and customer understanding to inform planning and optimize brand assets deployment.
* Contribute to European strategic planning on portfolio, geographic participation, and A&P budget allocation; define growth plans and measures for A&P effectiveness.
* Lead integrated brand communication: execution of global assets locally, ensuring adherence to guidelines and regulatory policies; partner with Regional & Local Customer Marketing on shopper-facing activities and advocacy programs; manage local campaign execution.
* Monitor brand performance metrics (revenue, profitability, share, equity) and provide recommendations with Sales, Customer Marketing, and Operations teams; define targets for channels and SKUs in collaboration with sales leadership.
* Ensure 80%+ of total investment has measurable M&E; identify growth drivers to scale in the roadmap.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the premium spirits industry, ideally with marketing and commercial roles.
* Proven track record in developing and executing annual brand and channel strategies.
* Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
* Excellent communicator; ability to motivate cross-functional teams, vendors, and agencies.
* Delivery-focused with a bias for action; comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.
* Languages: Spanish and English preferred.
