The Territory Manager / Sales Representative – Anthogyr (hybrid) is responsible for achieving maximum sales growth and account penetration within an assigned territory / group of customers. The Territory Manager promotes, sells, and secures orders from existing and prospective customers for Straumann's Anthogyr portfolio. The ideal candidate should have a strong Dental or Consultative Sales background, some commercial experience, be a quick learner with strong communication skills, and be able to showcase the Straumann Group offerings compellingly. Every potential customer is an opportunity to boost revenue, customer acquisition, and profitability. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
Objectives of this Role
* Outbound calling and outreach via digital channels to engage prospect accounts or accounts presenting Straumann Group with growth opportunities. This includes remote work via Teams / Zoom / telephone and face-to-face interactions as required, to build relationships with key decision makers, identify needs, conduct needs analysis, and understand business issues and aspirations.
* Account management to service, ensure demand continuity, and grow an existing portfolio of accounts, using remote and face-to-face methods as needed.
* Represent Straumann Group products and services, starting with understanding account needs to identify how our solutions can meet them.
* Overcome objections and communicate Straumann Group's value propositions effectively to decision makers regarding product offerings.
* Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and identifying new opportunities.
* Manage and maintain a pipeline of prospects.
* Contribute to organizational success by generating leads and opportunities for the broader team.
* Upsell to existing clients where appropriate.
* Support coverage of vacant territories remotely, such as during maternity leaves.
Responsibilities
* Proactively seek new business opportunities using phone, social media, and email to generate sales leads across the portfolio.
* Manage an assigned portfolio of accounts remotely and face-to-face.
* Qualify leads promptly (within 24 hours) via telephone from partners and marketing events.
* Provide quotes and close sales using appropriate technology.
* Drive attendance at educational events through outbound calling.
* Use CRM and other tools diligently, maintaining data discipline.
Required Capabilities, Skills, and Qualifications
* Experience in the dental sector is a strong advantage.
* Proven sales experience exceeding targets, with quoting and closing abilities.
* Self-motivated and driven.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Quick learner of digital technologies.
* Well organized with strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to track progress and results effectively.
* Understanding of sales processes and pipelines, with prospect research skills.
* Resilient, with an excellent telephone manner for outbound calling.
* Relationship builder, ethical, and brand-oriented.
* Team player with a desire to learn and succeed.
* Creative problem-solving and strong analytical skills.
