We are supporting a leading cyber security business in the search for a T1 SOC Analyst to join their team on a 12-month freelance contract based in Madrid .
This is an excellent opportunity for a security professional with strong SOC monitoring experience and German language skills to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyse security alerts and events within the SOC
Perform initial triage and investigation of security incidents
Escalate threats and suspicious activity in line with internal processes
Support incident response activities and follow-up actions
Maintain accurate documentation of alerts, incidents, and remediation steps
Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of security issues
Required Experience
Previous experience in a Tier 1 / T1 SOC Analyst position
Good understanding of security monitoring, SIEM tools, and incident handling
Ability to investigate and assess alerts in a structured way
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-moving security operations environment
12-month freelance contract
