Meet the team!
We are looking for a commercially minded, customer-obsessed Head of Strategic Finance to lead core FP&A and strategic analysis efforts across our global B2C marketplace business. This role sits at the intersection of growth and profitability - designed for a sharp, data-driven operator who thrives in fast-paced, product-led environments.
You will partner closely with Product, Operations, and Executive Leadership to shape financial planning, unlock operational leverage, and support business decisions with deep commercial insight. This role is critical in ensuring that ambitious growth is underpinned by sustainable, unit-economic thinking and a relentless focus on the end customer.
What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Financial Planning & Forecasting
* Lead the development of our annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans.
* Translate strategic priorities into financial outcomes, with a strong focus on profitable growth.
* Partner with business unit leaders to define revenue, margin, and ROI expectations across key initiatives.
Business Analysis & Commercial Insight
* Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business scenarios, unit economics, and market opportunities at scale.
* Analyze performance across P&Ls, cohorts, geographies, and customer segments.
* Monitor key KPIs and provide real-time insight into risks, opportunities, and trade-offs.
Marketplace Economics & Investment Decisioning
* Develop investment cases for new growth initiatives and product launches, with clear paths to profitability.
* Support pricing, incentive, and margin strategies that balance customer growth with bottom-line impact.
* Partner with Operations and Product teams to evaluate cost structure and optimize spend across the funnel.
Financial Reporting & Stakeholder Support
* Deliver timely and accurate reporting to senior leadership and the board.
* Act as a trusted finance advisor to cross-functional partners, proactively flagging areas for course correction.
* Support investor relations with data and narrative around financial performance and strategic outlook.
Team Leadership & Process Excellence
* Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing FP&A team.
* Drive automation, tooling, and process improvement across budgeting, reporting, and analytics.
What You Need To Succeed
* 7–10+ years of experience in FP&A or Strategic Finance with strong background in a B2C marketplace and/or consumer tech business; ideally as a Leader of the FP&A team and with exposure to P&L ownership or full-funnel optimization
* Experience working with Marketing and Product teams to drive the right capital allocation decisions and reflect that into an accurate forecast and business plan
* Demonstrated ability to drive commercial outcomes through financial insight and cross-functional influence
* Advanced financial modeling skills (Excel required; SQL a plus)
* Strong business judgment, analytical thinking, and executive communication skills
* Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving clarity in ambiguity
* High growth mindset with ability to balance velocity with precision
* Ability to get into the details and act as a player coach to build the FP&A team
