Location: Laude San Pedro International College, Marbella Duration: July (5 weeks) Working Hours: 09:00 – 14:00, Monday to Friday Remuneration: €150 week (Lunch included) JOB SUMMARY This is a unique opportunity to earn money over the summer while gaining valuable experience for your future career. As an Activity Assistant, you will support the delivery of creative, fun, and engaging activities for children aged 7–15 at our international summer camp. Working alongside experienced teachers and activity leaders, you will help run sessions, engage students in daily activities, accompany them on excursions, and contribute to a safe and enjoyable camp environment. This role is ideal for enthusiastic, responsible individuals aged 17 and over who enjoy working with children and are eager to develop leadership and teamwork skills in a dynamic summer setting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Activity Support ● Assist in the delivery of a range of creative and recreational activities, including arts & crafts, games, sports, and group challenges. ● Help set up and supervise activities, ensuring all students are engaged and included. ● Accompany students on off-site excursions and weekly swimming trips, ensuring their safety and enjoyment. Teamwork and Supervision ● Work under the guidance of experienced staff, gradually taking on more leadership with support. ● Ensure students are supervised at all times and help maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere. ● Help monitor attendance and student wellbeing, reporting concerns to senior staff. PERSON SPECIFICATION Essential ● Minimum age: 17 ● Interest in working with children and some relevant experience (e.g., babysitting, tutoring, coaching, volunteering) ● Friendly, enthusiastic, and confident engaging with children aged 7–15 ● Able to work well in a team and follow direction ● Outgoing, reliable, and energetic ● Willing to assist in all aspects of camp life, including outdoor activities and excursions ● Must currently live in the Marbella area or have accommodation arranged (housing is not provided) ● Legal right to work in Spain and relevant documentation Desirable ● Previous experience in summer camps, schools, or youth programs ● Basic Spanish language skills ● Interest in sports, arts, drama, or other extracurricular activities COMPETENCIES ● Approachable, kind, and supportive to children and colleagues ● Good communication and a team-first attitude ● Flexible, positive, and eager to learn At Laude San Pedro we have high academic expectations for all of our students.
