We are expanding our fabrication team comprising two junior and one senior clean room engineer looking for: 1 specialist level (PhD/MSc/MEng >5 years work experience) professional to work on clean room processing of compound semiconductor/photonic devices.
The ideal candidate should be an independent, resourceful and goal oriented professional. He or She should have a strong motivation to join a technology related startup industry in a technically demanding and rapidly evolving business environment.
Job Description As part of the fabrication team at g2-Zero and under the supervision of the fabrication CTO your responsabilities will be: Required technical skills: - Apply, improve and develop device processing recipes on GaAs/AlGaAs semiconductor compounds. - Use microfabrication tools such us UV lithography (both mask and mask-less), EBL lithography, PECVD, wet and dry ICP-RIE etching, and characterization tools such us SEM and AFM. - Mask design with python scripted K-Layout environment. Required team leading and managemente skills: - Train junior clean room engineers in best practices and recipes in this domain. - Be able to schedule, monitor and accoplish milestone oriented processing calendars. - Report periodically to the board of directors creating and delivering compelling presentations about processing activities. Required qualifications -PhD/MSci/MEng degree in any relevant field. -Proven previous work experience in clean room processing of GaAs/AlGaAs photonic/electronic devices. -Strong technical competence on a lab environment. -Ability to work independently and to actively learn new skills.
