We are looking for an experienced and driven machine learning engineer to help define and build best-in-class machine learning solutions and tools for Apple.
This position is at the intersection of Generative AI, Machine Learning and Software Engineering. As a member of our dynamic and fast-paced group, you'll play a key role in the application of large-scale foundational models that delight millions of customers across the globe.
While collaborating with partner teams across Apple, you'll contribute by sharing your experience, delivering architectural proposals that account for international market needs, and maintaining an ethos of continual learning from your counterparts. The adecuado candidate will have expertise with LLMs and deep learning models, machine learning lifecycle management, data generation methods, model training and validation, coupled with strong fundamentals and passion in software engineering and system architecture.
MS or PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or related field.
Proficiency in programming languages and tools like Python, Git, Notebooks.
Experience shipping production-grade ML or DL based applications.
Expertise in innovating with LLMs, in-depth knowledge of the latest advancements in the Machine Learning/Deep Learning field.
Knowledge with the common frameworks and tools such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Experience with Docker / Kubernetes.
Experience with RAG, LLM Reasoning and LLM Agent.
Excellent interpersonal skills; happy to work in a team as well as independently; can take and give feedback; can iterate on a solution in a collaborative environment.
