Scientist – Biopharmaceutical Analysis Barcelona Area – 100% OnsiteOn behalf of our client, an established international pharma based company, we are seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join their Biopharmaceutical Analysis team.Reporting to the Department Manager, this position focuses on the transfer and validation of biological products in a GMP-regulated environment, ensuring scientific excellence and regulatory compliance. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, supervise, and execute transfer and validation studies of biological products.Perform and oversee analytical techniques, with strong emphasis on HPLC-based methods and chromatography.Lead assigned projects, ensuring timelines are met and maintaining direct communication with clients.Draft, review, and manage technical documentation (protocols, reports, SOPs, Certificates of Analysis, etc.).Manage and document investigations related to deviations, incidents, OOS, OOT, and CAPAs.Supervise and mentor laboratory analysts and technical staff during experimental work, promoting GMP compliance and scientific rigor. RequirementsBachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or a related life sciences field.Strong hands-on experience with HPLC methods, particularly in biological techniques.Proven experience transferring validated analytical methods to other laboratories.Solid understanding of GMP requirements and Quality Control processes.Experience in protein analysis; electrophoretic techniques, Western Blot, and ELISA are considered strong assets.Analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to write high-quality technical reports and validation documentation.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a structured and organized manner.Comfortable handling documentation related to deviations, OOS, OOT, CAPAs, and related quality processes.English level equivalent to Cambridge First Certificate (B2) or higher.
