The candidate will be welcomed within the Vendor Management unit, a transversal area within Telefónica Global Solutions responsible for managing end-to-end relationships with our partners and providers. This includes economic management, strategic discussions, operational support, and collaboration with business units.
Mission
As a Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for building strategy, engagement, managing the cost of sale budget, and achieving economic targets for the vendors under your responsibility. You will manage vendors from regions such as APAC and Eastern Europe, based in Madrid.
Accountabilities / Responsibilities
* Build and maintain relationships with assigned vendors.
* Own the cost of sale budget and control efficiencies.
* Develop and execute efficiency plans.
* Coordinate activities for key customers in your region, including developing new products with vendors, exploring new business opportunities, and ensuring quality assurance.
* Support other areas within Telefónica Global Solutions in communication with vendors to ensure smooth operations for our customers.
* Create and maintain action plans covering strategic, economic, and operational activities for each vendor.
* Assist the Vendor Strategy & Agreements Unit in negotiating agreements with existing vendors and onboarding new ones.
* Monitor business evolution, including new demand and cancellations.
* Contribute to the evolution of processes and tools.

Qualifications, Training & Experience
* University Degree (Engineering, Telecoms, etc.).
* Around 6 years of experience in Telcos or Vendors.
* Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written; Chinese skills are a plus.
* High knowledge of the global telecommunications industry.
* Availability to travel.
* Data analysis skills are beneficial.
