Your job
As a Provider Relations Specialist, you will be part of the Provider Services Organization, responsible for managing relationships with healthcare providers in Europe and the Americas. You will work closely with peers and stakeholders worldwide. Key responsibilities include managing partnerships with healthcare providers such as hospitals and clinics, supporting their onboarding, daily interactions, performance monitoring, and engagement initiatives.

Your functions

* Enable effective collaboration with healthcare providers to deliver a top-tier customer experience.
* Ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing operational maintenance of provider relationships.
* Educate healthcare professionals on Cigna processes, including member identification, claims submission, operating models, portal usage, and onboarding into new provider portals.
* Manage ongoing relationships, handle daily operations, resolve complaints, escalations, or threats.
* Monitor and analyze operational KPIs and reconciliation results to support providers and ensure continuous improvement.
* Drive service improvement initiatives based on data and feedback.
* Maintain active communication and regular meetings with healthcare providers.
* Provide feedback to management and manage communication channels considering local practices.
* Proactively educate providers on new processes and conduct provider visits as needed.

Your profile

* Internal candidates: 1+ years at Cigna or relevant experience with a strong performance record.
* External candidates: At least 2 years in Operations, Data Analysis, Marketing/Communications, or Relationship Management, with operational and provider-facing experience.
* Proficient in English, Portuguese, and Spanish; additional languages like Italian or Greek are a plus.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
* Ability to work remotely with an international mindset.
* Excellent communication, organization, and planning skills.
* Experience in complaint management and data interpretation.
* Availability to travel approximately 10% of the time.
