Healthcare Transformation Partner

At GSK Spain, we are committed to be part of the sustainable transformation of our Healthcare System. The Healthcare Transformation team is responsible for fostering the implementation of innovative solutions within the Healthcare System that address bottlenecks within the clinical pathway of the pathologies in which GSK is expert, for instance, shortening time-to-diagnosis, enhancing patient follow-up and remote monitoring, optimizing the derivation between Primary Care and Secondary Care, etc..

The Healthcare Transformation Field partner is responsible, within the pathologies under scope of its Therapeutic Area, for deploying innovative solutions initiatives that address the unmet needs of the Healthcare System with focus on some of our pathologies managed by specialized units within hospitals.

Working alongside Healthcare Transformation Therapeutic Area Leads, this role focuses on the in-field execution of these initiatives within hospitals and Healthcare Systems, working closely with healthcare professionals and healthcare organizations to facilitate the effective implementation and long-term adoption of these solutions.

KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES UNDER SCOPE:

Implementation of innovative solutions defined within the Business Units’ Healthcare Transformation Strategy. Work in collaboration with clinical teams, hospital IT teams, innovation departments, hospital management, and external partners (including tech/ IT companies and start-ups), ensuring alignment with real hospital needs while delivering on time and quality and impactful solutions. Build and sustain strong relationships with the above-mentioned external stakeholders, ensuring trust, alignment, and collaboration across all levels of the hospital and regional systems. Deeply understand and translate their needs (clinical, operational, technical, management) into functional requirements and solutions to “make things happen” effectively. End-to-end project management and delivery, including planning, scoping, milestones, deliverables, risks, resources, external suppliers and partners and budget where applicable, whilst ensuring compliance with quality, ethical, safety, compliance and data protection standards for all digital and AI-based initiatives. Assess, anticipate, and mitigate risks across all project phases, proposing and implementing mitigation plans and corrective actions to maintain project momentum when required. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Market Access, Gov Affairs, Medical) to prioritize initiatives and opportunities based on strategic relevance, feasibility, impact, stakeholder needs, and resource availability being the regional reference for healthcare innovation, best practices and technology assessment. Monitor KPIs, outcomes, and benefits, providing transparent and structured reporting to field and office roles within the TA under scope to capture valuable insights for deployed innovative solutions.

WHY YOU?

Basic qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Business Administration or related fields. Postgraduate degrees (MBA, Digital, Innovation/ Transformation…) will be a plus.
2. Proven experience in project management within healthcare, consulting, technology, pharma, or hospital ecosystems.
3. Proven experience in implementing innovative projects leveraging technology (experience in Healthcare Transformation will be a plus).
4. Excellent collaboration capacity with internal and external stakeholders. Experience working with diverse stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes that create business impact.
5. Results-oriented with the ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
6. Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), with the ability to communicate and present effectively to groups and senior leaders.
7. Excellent level of spoken and written English and Spanish.

Preferred qualifications

8. Understanding of Digital Technologies: AI/Gen AI, IoT, Big Data, Blockchain….and its applicability on the Health space.
9. Strong understanding of process improvement, lean healthcare, and design thinking.
10. Deep knowledge of the Health & Digital Innovation ecosystem in Spain.
11. Updated with the latest trends and best practices in business innovation.
12. Detail oriented and operationally focused.
13. Very strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal skills and ability to work in a time and resource constrained environment.
14. Experience in pharma or medtech is valued but not required.
