Job Description:
Select the frequency of data generation, management, and accessibility to drive scientific discovery and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement data management solutions that ensure compliance with research standards and methodologies.
* Collaborate with IT, Data Science, and experimental research teams to manage data according to FAIR principles.
* Design assay-specific solutions for data generation, quality control, and monitoring in collaboration with experimental researchers.
* Evaluate data usage and report compliance and quality control metrics.
* Provide training and support to team members on data management tools and best practices.
Education & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience or Master's degree with 5+ years of experience in Biology, Bioinformatics, or Data Science.
* Experience running wet laboratory experiments and proven track record in data management in a biological research setting.
* Strong understanding of data governance, quality, and security principles.
* Familiarity with data management tools, software (e.g., R or Python), and SQL knowledge is a bonus.
* Team player with excellent communication skills across multiple scientific disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to biological data (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
* Knowledge of experimental biology techniques and protocols.
