Position Overview
As part of the Sales department in Spain, based in Madrid, you will be responsible for achieving annual sales strategies and goals through managing a team of Sales and Service representatives. You will develop area sales plans in conjunction with the team under your responsibility, manage and grow Radiometer’s customers, and provide direction, leadership, coaching and mentoring for the regional sales and service teams. You will advance the professional development, conduct, sales effectiveness and efficiency of staff, and track progress with sales, forecast, pipeline growth and instrument usage using DBS tools.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage sales operations for a large area in Spain and achieve sales goals in collaboration with the team.
* Develop a regional sales strategy to aggressively gain market share and meet financial targets.
* Translate strategy into actionable tactics on a daily basis.
* Plan co-travel with sales field representatives (SFRs) when calling on existing and new customers, accessing their needs and characteristics.
* Present appropriate products, solutions and services to customers.
Essential Requirements
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
* Functional Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in sales within the medical devices, diagnostics, or healthcare industry.
* Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading and coaching sales teams to achieve ambitious targets and improve engagement.
* Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute business strategies, identify growth opportunities, and adapt to market challenges.
* Customer‑Centric Approach: Strong relationship‑building skills with key stakeholders, ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
