Overview
We are seeking a passionate and results‐driven Project Manager to oversee and drive cross‐functional projects that support HP Enterprise Operations (EO) and Global Product Compliance & Sustainable Impact (GPC&SI) transformation strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate projects that span multiple functions and teams, ensuring seamless execution of EO and GPC&SI strategic initiatives.
Develop comprehensive project schedules, identify critical deliverables, manage budgets, and create resource allocation plans to support project success.
Monitor progress against established plans, analyze business information, and proactively adjust schedules and resources to meet evolving program requirements.
Regularly communicate project status, escalations, and issue analyses to key stakeholders, fostering transparency and alignment.
Collaborate with management and cross‐functional delivery teams to recommend and implement process or system changes, resolve escalated issues, and ensure adherence to budget, roadmap, and timelines.
Knowledge & Skills
Proven track record of setting up and driving projects across an organization.
Demonstrated business acumen and successful experience managing all aspects of project, including communicating with stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and influence skills.
Ability to proactively identify problem areas and mobilize the right people to solve them.
Strong collaboration, planning, and prioritization skills.
Ability to facilitate efficient and productive meetings.
Lead by influence rather than authority, building trust across the organization.
Understanding of the challenges faced by cross‐geo teams and willingness to solve them.
Product and Corporate Compliance, Environmental and Social Impact, and/or ESG domain/function knowledge, expertise, and experience would be a plus.
Education & Experience
Four‐year or Graduate Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
PMP or PMI certification is highly preferred.
Demonstrated experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Excellent communication, problem‐solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‐paced setting and manage multiple priorities effectively.
