We are looking for a Treasury Intern to support daily cash management, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and treasury operations within a dynamic team.
Job Responsibilities
Payment Processing & Control
- Assist the Treasury team in preparing and verifying automated payment files for various disbursements (e.g., suppliers, intercompany), ensuring data accuracy and adherence to established deadlines and compliance procedures.
- Learn about the payment process flow and controls.
- Support the preparation of manual payments by gathering necessary documentation and verifying adherence to internal payment requirements and authorization policies.
- Understand the rationale for manual payments.
- Assist in monitoring bank remittances and tracking their timely receipt and settlement within SAP.
- Learn the process of reconciling and inputting bank data into the system.
Cash Management & Forecasting
- Perform preliminary daily bank reconciliations and verify transaction details against internal records, highlighting any discrepancies for review by the Treasury Analyst.
- Support the preparation of short‑term cash flow forecasts by gathering relevant data from various departments.
- Assist in monitoring daily cash positions and tracking actuals against forecasts to identify variances.
- Support the Treasury team in gathering documentation for bank guarantee requests. Assist in reviewing and tracking bank commissions and expenses, flagging any discrepancies for further investigation.
Bank Relations & Expense Management
- Manage the issuance and verification of bank guarantees, controlling associated commissions.
- Periodically review and reconcile all bank fees, expenses, and financial income for the group, claiming discrepancies as needed.
Reporting & Collaboration
- Ensure the timely and accurate transfer of bank movement files and other necessary documentation to the Accounting Department to facilitate their bank reconciliation process.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly treasury reports by compiling data, consolidating information, and performing basic data analysis for FX exposures, cash flow positions, and other financial metrics.
Retail & Credit Card Operations
- Support the coordination of daily cash activities for retail boutiques and e‑commerce, including assisting with cash transfer management with security partners.
- Perform reconciliation and verification of daily credit card collections from various platforms, investigating and reporting any discrepancies.
Other Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining records of corporate insurance policies and gathering necessary information for renewals or incident reporting to insurance providers.
- Provide general administrative support to the Treasury department as needed.
- Actively learn about treasury best practices, financial instruments, and compliance requirements.

Skills: Ability to thrive in an international environment. Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy. Technical and management skills in treasury operations. Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, with a proactive and problem‑solving mindset.
Required educational background: Degree in Business Administration or Economics.
Languages: Spanish (Fluent), English (Fluent C1), French is a plus.
Tools: Proficient in Office 365, SAP, and XRT.
Experience: Previous professional experience will be considered a plus.
Availability: For an immediate incorporation.
Important: Possibility of signing agreement with university for at least 6 months, full-time.
