We are seeking a talented and motivated Project Manager for Social Innovation projects to join the Project Management Office (PMO) at Fundació Sant Joan de Déu, linked to the European/International Post-Award Unit.
The Project Management Office – PMO
The International Post-Award Unit manages over 50 European projects, primarily from Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe, with 10 coordinated by our institution. The PMO supports Principal Investigators and researchers within the Sant Joan de Déu ecosystem in project coordination, providing scientific, technical, and managerial support to ensure successful project development.
The successful candidate will be part of the PMO and will be responsible for the effective implementation of assigned projects, with a focus on social innovation tasks.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Project Management and Coordination
o Coordinate daily internal work according to the work plan, including quality control, meetings, and deadline follow-up.
o Guide project partners on technical, ethical, and work plan issues; resolve conflicts; and align partners with project objectives.
o Coordinate Work Packages led by SJD, organize meetings, collect documents, and prepare reports and deliverables.
o Manage project quality and risks, review final documents, and oversee communication and exploitation plans.
o Assist in preparing scientific and technical reports for funding agencies.
o Prepare agendas and presentations for meetings and committees; draft minutes.
o Develop and monitor Data Management Plans and DPIAs, ensuring data protection compliance.
o Oversee ethical regulatory processes and prepare necessary documentation for Ethical Committees.
o Follow up on Gantt charts and liaise with stakeholders such as participants, schools, city councils, providers, and social services.
2. Social Innovation Activities
o Define impact strategies, including theory of change, impact pathways, and narratives to ensure project transformation.
o Lead monitoring and evaluation activities.
o Design and facilitate co-creation and participatory activities like workshops and hackathons.
o Lead knowledge valorization activities involving stakeholders.
o Support transferability and standardization of outputs, develop exploitation plans, and promote scalability.
o Contribute to communication and dissemination strategies.
o Implement social awareness raising strategies.
3. Assist the Pre-Award unit in defining project ideas and challenges through co-creation and participatory activities.
