We are looking for a Project Control Risk Engineer to join an international company that is a leader in developing EPC projects in the Oil & Gas and Energy sectors. With a solid track record in designing and constructing industrial plants worldwide, this company actively participates in key energy transition initiatives such as hydrogen, biofuels, biomass, digitalization, and artificial intelligence.
Location: Madrid, Spain
Work Modality:
Hybrid work model, flexible working hours, and reduced hours during summer.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop the Project Risk Management Plan.
2. Manage the risk management process throughout the project lifecycle, both internally and with clients (when contractually required).
3. Facilitate client workshops to identify risks and opportunities.
4. Define response strategies, action plans, and assign risk ownership.
5. Monitor action plan deadlines and update the risk register.
6. Perform quantitative assessments using SRA for quarterly reporting.
Requirements:
1. Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
2. Over 5 years of professional experience in international companies.
3. Proven experience in EPC LSTK projects within Oil & Gas and Energy sectors, especially on the side of the main contractor (EPC Prime Contractor).
4. Willingness to travel.
5. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
6. Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) and experience as a Project Engineer are assets.
7. Experience with Primavera P6, Primavera Risk Analysis (PRA), @Risk, and PDRI is a plus.
8. Knowledge of project management and control tools/software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Experience leading client workshops.
