Spain/Europa Service Electrical Engineer
General Information
Main function: Service and Installation
Responsible for providing technical service such as troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repairing of AEG PS products and systems to ensure continuous function at the customer site and in compliance with quality and safety requirements.
Purpose of the role: To install, maintain, commission, troubleshoot, and repair AEG PS systems to ensure continuous function of AEG PS systems at the customer site in compliance with quality and safety requirements.
Reports to: Service Manager
Role responsibilities:
1. To visit customer sites as directed to install, maintain, commission, and repair power supply and related systems, including battery maintenance and swap-over.
2. Testing and replacing defective components to put the system into operation according to pre-defined standards.
3. Ensure timely, accurate, and complete documentation relating to site visits, including field service reports, expenses, and overtime sheets.
4. Ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements are met.
5. To ensure 24/7 hours availability according to planning schedule.
6. Confer with customers and third parties clarifying terms and conditions relating to the on-site activities.
7. To provide technical training and instructions to people on the customer's site.
8. To inform the customer about possible system improvements and coordinate follow-up with the sales team.
9. To ensure effective and efficient use of service repair equipment.
10. Keep track of necessary calibration or exchange of equipment.
11. Ensure health and safety measures are taken before entering the customer's site.

Core competencies:
Education, knowledge and working experience:
1. Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent level gained by work experience
2. At least 3-5 years experience in the repair to component level of electrical/electronic equipment in a field service role
3. Experience with power electronic systems and related installation/maintenance/service procedures
4. Competent in English
5. Medical and personal clearance
6. Clean driver's license
