Responsibilities and Tasks
- Strategy & Expansion: Define and execute the international wholesale expansion plan in alignment with the founders. Identify new market opportunities, strategic partners, and growth channels.
- Commercial Management & Negotiation: Manage and grow key accounts (department stores, concept stores, e-tailers, distributors). Negotiate orders, margins, commercial terms, and brand positioning with each partner. Set clear sales targets by territory and partner.
- Agent & Distributor Network: Select, activate, and coordinate local agents and distributors. Supervise sales strategies and ensure they embody LAAGAM’s DNA.
- Showroom & Trade Fairs: Lead LAAGAM’s presence at international showrooms and trade fairs (Paris, CPH, Milan, etc.). Manage calendar planning, collection preparation, and appointment scheduling.
- Brand Positioning & B2B Experience: Ensure the wholesale buying experience is fully aligned with the brand’s identity. Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to guarantee flawless delivery and service.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Create sales forecasts, monitor performance, and provide monthly reports. Analyze margins, profitability, and potential for each market.
Requirements
- ~5+ years of international wholesale experience in contemporary or premium fashion.
- ~ A strong network of industry contacts and a proven track record in market expansion.
- ~ Sharp negotiation skills and strategic thinking.
- ~ Fluent in English (other languages are a plus).
- ~ Someone ambitious, curious, and ready to build something iconic.
- ~ A deep love for fashion — and a flair for storytelling through brand.
