Job Title: Chief Commercial Officer
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Commercial Officer to lead our retail eCommerce division in Albacete.
About the Role:
This pivotal position will drive sales growth, optimize pricing strategies, and manage vendor relationships.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in eCommerce sales, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical retail landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
* Trading: Drive topline growth by establishing category and vendor strategies, collaborating with marketing on promotional calendars, negotiating favorable vendor terms, and leveraging ecommerce levers (pricing, etc.) for profitability.
* Leadership and Team Management: Lead and mentor a diverse team of 25 professionals across sales, vendor management, purchasing, and inventory management. Set clear performance objectives, conduct regular evaluations, and foster a collaborative high-performance culture.
* Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth in the eCommerce pharmacy sector. Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify new product and service opportunities.
* Pricing and Inventory Management: Master eCommerce pricing strategies to maximize profitability while remaining competitive. Oversee inventory purchasing and management to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
* Vendor Negotiation and Relationship Management: Negotiate favorable terms and marketing services with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing and reliable product supply. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to enhance partnership opportunities and value-added services.
* Customer Experience Optimization: Work closely with marketing and customer service teams to enhance the online shopping experience and increase customer loyalty. Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service delivery and product offerings.
* Performance Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to monitor sales performance, identify trends, and make informed business decisions. Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, outlining achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
* 7+ years of experience in sales leadership within the eCommerce industry, preferably in the pharmacy or parapharmacy sector.
* English and Spanish fluent.
* Proven experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
* Strong understanding of eCommerce pricing, vendor management, inventory purchasing, and management practices.
* Excellent negotiation skills and a track record of successful vendor relationship management.
* Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
