We're currently working with a global aviation and transport technology organisation, they're seeking an experienced Operations Domain Product Manager with strong AMOS platform expertise to support the evolution and optimisation of a critical maintenance and engineering systems landscape across multiple international operating companies.
This role sits within a product-led technology and architecture function and is responsible for the strategic ownership, roadmap development, operational stability, and continuous improvement of the AMOS maintenance platform.
You will work closely with operational stakeholders, architecture teams, engineering delivery functions, and service management teams to ensure the platform delivers measurable business value while supporting regulatory and operational requirements within a highly complex, safety-critical environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and develop the AMOS product roadmap aligned with operational and technology strategyManage and prioritise the AMOS product backlog across operational, technical, regulatory, and transformation requirementsPartner with architecture and engineering teams to ensure platform alignment with enterprise standards and target-state architectureAct as the primary liaison between Operations, Maintenance, Technology, and Delivery teamsSupport agile and incremental delivery practices across platform enhancements and operational improvementsEnsure platform stability, performance, compliance, and effective management of live-service operationsDrive continuous improvement initiatives and optimisation of operational maintenance processesManage dependencies across integrations, platforms, and operational data flows
Required ExperienceStrong experience managing the AMOS platformExperience within aviation, engineering operations, MRO, asset-intensive, or safety-critical environmentsStrong understanding of product management, backlog prioritisation, and value-driven deliveryExperience working across architecture, delivery, and operational business stakeholdersFamiliarity with agile / SAFe delivery environmentsStrong stakeholder management and communication skills
DesirableExposure to enterprise architecture governance modelsExperience supporting large-scale operational transformation programmesUnderstanding of cloud platform management and integrated operational systems
