We are looking for a Facilities, Maintenance & Energy Management Engineer to join the FMRE (Facility Management and Real Estate) Team in Airbus Operations, El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz). The mission is to guarantee seamless operation, safety, and efficiency of Airbus infrastructure and to balance complex technical maintenance with ambitious energy efficiency goals (ISO 50001) to keep our sites ready for the future of aerospace manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Lead turnkey projects for energy and water saving, harmonizing procedures to achieve divisional sustainability targets.
Manage and maintain facilities and technical equipment to guarantee a safe environment and 100% business continuity for production.
Lead maintenance suppliers and lump-sum contracts, monitoring performance through KPIs and SLAs to ensure delivery on time, quality, and cost.
Maintain and promote the ISO 50001 Certification, managing the site's energy inventory and ensuring all new investments meet high efficiency standards.
Manage annual OpEx and CapEx budgets, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and continuous improvement across Spanish sites.
Drive the digitalization of maintenance processes through the intensive use of CMMS and energy data tools (BMS, eSight).
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Industrial or Aeronautical Engineering (MECES 3 / EQF 7 level).
At least 5 years of experience in Maintenance, Energy Management, or Sustainability within industrial environments.
Proven experience with ISO 50001 standards, energy markets, and digital tools for Facility Management (CMMS/BMS).
Analytical mindset, negotiation skills, and a proactive approach toward customer satisfaction and innovation.
Advanced level in English and Spanish (fluency required).
Experience in multicultural environments and availability for occasional travel to other Airbus sites in Spain (nice to have).
