The Siemens Energy Data & Advanced Analytics organization develops Data and AI-driven solutions, along with governance and platforms to enhance Siemens Energy's businesses and operations. We seek innovative, enthusiastic, and versatile data, digital, and AI professionals to join us in this exciting venture. The Data Strategy & Innovation tower is responsible for creating and executing the enterprise data and AI strategy aligned with business goals, while also advancing R&D efforts to enhance analytics capabilities. Additionally, it manages investments, external relations, partnerships, and funding to meet organizational objectives.
How You’ll Make an Impact / Responsibilities
* Engage with senior customers and SMEs to develop data and analytics strategies for various Siemens Energy business units and functions.
* Collaborate with corporate strategy and innovation teams across the organization.
* Translate business needs into data and analytics requirements to address challenges in data utilization across business areas.
* Create and evaluate data-driven initiatives and develop ideas collaboratively with customers and partners.
* Develop and monitor KPIs and metrics to track progress of data and analytics strategies.
* Document and present strategies and roadmaps to senior leadership.
* Manage project and portfolio delivery effectively, including reporting to governance bodies, leadership, project managers, and business owners.
* Provide thought leadership and support the Chief Data Officer’s team in ensuring consistent delivery and governance within the Data & Advanced Analytics organization.
What You Bring / Skills, Capabilities
* Advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, IT, or a quantitative field.
* At least 3 years of experience leading small teams with a proven track record of successful leadership and mentorship.
* Over 7 years of experience in digital, data, or analytics fields with strategic planning expertise.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, understanding customer needs, influencing directions, and translating data insights into actionable measures.
* Excellent communication and engagement skills, with ability to capture ideas, foster participation, and deliver tangible results.
* Experience establishing program management frameworks within large, global organizations.
* Industry experience in manufacturing or the energy sector is a plus.
* Customer-focused with excellent communication skills, adept at working in multicultural, global environments.
* Deep understanding of data models, metadata management, data quality, and issue resolution.
* Open-minded, eager to learn, and committed to continuous self-improvement.
* Result-oriented with strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
* Proven ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations and drive outcomes at scale.
