Electronics Engineer | Space Hardware | Satellite Payloads
I’m currently supporting a pioneering space technology company that is expanding its engineering team and looking for an Electronics Engineer to help develop the next generation of satellite hardware.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge systems that operate in orbit, with real ownership across the full product lifecycle — from concept and prototyping through integration, testing, and live mission performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Design board-level electronic systems for satellite units and RF boards
* Focus on power, control circuits, and microcontroller-based systems
* Test and validate hardware for reliability and mission readiness
* Produce schematics, PCB layouts, test plans, and technical documentation
* Troubleshoot issues across design, manufacturing, and in-orbit operations
* Collaborate closely with RF, mechanical, software, and systems engineers
* Improve design standards, testing processes, and operational performance
What They’re Looking For
* Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline
* Strong experience in analog and digital electronics design
* Experience with low-noise power supplies, timing circuits, and high-speed signals
* Understanding of EMI/EMC best practices
* Familiarity with aerospace, defence, or other high-reliability environments
* Solid understanding of RF concepts and mixed-signal interactions
Nice to Have
* Space hardware or environmental testing experience (thermal, vibration, radiation)
* PCB design tools such as Altium Designer or KiCad
* Embedded systems / microcontroller firmware experience
* Root cause analysis of complex hardware faults
Looking forward to hearing from you.
