We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer specializing in Microservices and AWS to join a project for a global leader in credit cards, auto loans, banking, and savings accounts. This 100% remote position is open to candidates located in Spain, requiring fluent English for effective collaboration with international teams.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and sustain efficient, reusable, and high-quality software.
* Embrace the DevOps mindset:
"you build it, you own it, you run it" to ensure reliable and seamless software maintenance.
* Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
* Engage in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including occasional QA and peer code reviews.
Qualifications
* Very strong Java programming skills and knowledge of building APIs.
* Deep understanding of all stages in the Software Development Life Cycle.
* Experience with different testing types:
Unit Testing, API Testing, Acceptance Testing, Load Testing.
* Relevant experience with AWS services.
* Experience with Gradle or Maven.
* Experience with Enterprise Jenkins.
* Experience working in an Agile fashion (e.G., Scrum, SAFe).
* English B2+/C1.
