PHD is seeking a talented Brand Manager to oversee media and communications strategies across various channels, ensuring cost-effective and impactful campaigns.
Based in Madrid, the Brand Manager will develop and execute communication plans aligned with client objectives, managing the entire process from planning to execution for individual or multiple clients.
The role involves maximizing advertising and promotional activities across multimedia channels including digital platforms (display, internet, social media), print (newspapers, magazines), broadcast (radio, TV), and outdoor media (posters, billboards). The candidate will analyze consumer behavior, audience trends, and campaign performance to inform strategic decisions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
Client Oriented
* Deliver high-quality service by understanding client needs and objectives, recommending appropriate media channels for campaigns.
* Develop in-depth knowledge of clients’ businesses and industries.
* Build strong relationships with media suppliers and understand the market offerings.
* Identify target audiences, analyze campaign results, and extract insights to optimize performance.
* Create media plans using internal tools (e.g., Demilpa, AMI Digital) based on data analysis.
* Manage data collection, reporting, and analysis in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
* Prepare competitive reports with analytical insights and implications.
Media Knowledge
* Identify components of effective media plans and follow through to completion.
* Forecast digital media plans aligned with campaign objectives.
* Evaluate plans for rate accuracy, discounts, and fees.
* Develop offline (TV) and digital media plans with clear rationales.
* Generate detailed competitive reports and interpret their implications.
Trading
* Understand media buying processes, ensure correct rates and discounts are applied.
* Build relationships with the investment team and communicate briefs effectively.
* Respect timelines and understand buying strategies.
Tools
* Proficient in administrative, planning, and buying tools such as Demilpa, AMI Digital, and research sources like Kantar, Infoadex, Comscore, Google Analytics.
* Skilled in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Understand the purpose of data sources and contribute actively to planning tools like Source.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILL REQUIREMENTS :
* Minimum 4 years of experience in digital planning roles.
* Knowledge of offline media concepts.
* Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
* Deep understanding of marketing communication channels and platforms.
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
* Excellent analytical and client-oriented skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Spanish (advanced level required).
* Valid European Community (EU) work permit.
