Sales Manager Travel Sellers Europe
Summary
We are Outpayce and we are bringing smooth end‑to‑end payments to the travel industry to give airlines, travel sellers, hotels, and corporations the upper hand against payment challenges and evolving user expectations. Within this fast-growth organization we are looking for a new addition to our Outpayce Commercial team for our travel seller customers in the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for driving new sales: Close new sales / acquisition opportunities in strong cooperation with the broader Amadeus team in the region. Define the deal strategy, approach and value for the specific customer segment, type and profile. Prospect, follow-up and close a windfall of deals.
2. Responsible for signing renewals and upsells: Identify new upsell and / or cross sell opportunities from our portfolio of payout and merchant services. Work closely with our customer adoption teams to identify tangible opportunities to support our customers business.
3. Complex Deal Management: Work with all internal stakeholders to ensure clarity on deal strategy, commercial scenarios, ideal business outcome and then an engagement plan and subsequent go-live plan with the customer side; Identify potential risks early, elaborate remediation plans and execute them as soon as possible.
4. Acceptance / Merchant Solutions: Be the champion to explore business opportunities and to develop these for our merchant solutions with the travel seller community; Ensure that there is a healthy feedback loop to our product team, to ensure that the solutions are adapted to tangible customer needs and demands.
5. Outpayce Spokesperson and Event Participation: As part of the role, this person will assume the responsibility to represent Outpayce as the spokesperson both internally and externally at key industry events with customers, partners and industry partners.
6. Exposure to Trends & Trusted Advisor: Develop and deepen relationship with customers with exposure to the latest information on: 1- Fintech trends / 2- Payout Payments trends / 3- Travel Technology Trends / 4- Outpayce Product Evolution / 5- Changes in Competitive Environment and payments regulation (PSD, Interchange etc); A successful Commercial Manager will act as a Trusted Advisor to our customers accounts in charge.
About the ideal candidate:
* University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering similar. Masters degree / MBA is an advantage;
* Commercial experience managing complex multinational and regional accounts;
* Experience in Travel Technology – preferred;
* Experience in Payments / Fintech, ideally in Payout Services and or / Merchant Payments - as a plus;
* Comfortable with Technology and capable of working and influencing Product teams;
* SalesForce CRM and Office proficiency;
* Excellent English is mandatory; any other language will be valued;
* Customer oriented, driven, committed, organized, responsive, accountable.
