Role purpose

Senior Data Engineer
will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable data pipelines, leading the evolution of the data architecture, and acting as a
technical leader

What you'll do
- Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines on
Azure
- Develop data models using
dbt, SQL, Databricks
- Ensure
data quality, reliability, and performance
- Design analytics-ready models for
Power BI
- Act as a
technical reference
, mentoring others and defining best practices
- Apply
Agile principles
to improve delivery and outcomes
Technical requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a
Data Engineer
or similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in
SQL
and analytical data modeling.
- Strong experience with:
- dbt
- Databricks / Spark
- Azure
(ADLS, ADF, Synapse or equivalent)
- Experience with
SQL Server
or other relational databases.
- Solid knowledge of
Power BI
:
- Semantic model design
- Dataset optimization
- DAX best practices
- Experience with
Git
and collaborative workflows.
- Knowledge of modern data architectures.
- Demonstrated familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, etc.)
Nice to have
- Experience integrating
Power BI with dbt models

- Knowledge of
CI/CD for data platforms and Power BI
.
- Experience with
RLS, data governance, and access control
.
- Understanding of Power BI Service capacity and performance metrics
