About the role
As we embark on an exciting and challenging period of growth, we are seeking a highly organized Senior People & Culture Ops Coordinator to join our People & Culture team and help us continue to create a great place to work. This pivotal role is essential to our operations and will report directly to the Director of People & Culture. You will provide comprehensive support throughout the employee lifecycle, streamline HR processes, and ensure a seamless experience for employees during their journey with us.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fully remote, dynamic, fast-paced environments and enjoys problem-solving while managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Help with the implementation of key People & Culture initiatives in line with the People Strategy
* Partner with the Director of People & Culture to manage and resolve employee-related queries
* Assist with the implementation and maintenance of People Systems
* Liaise with external partners (systems, benefits and training providers, etc)
* Clarify and enforce people policies and processes across the company, whilst ensuring compliance, confidentiality and data protection
* Deal with daily people operations activities across the whole employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
* Escalate relevant feedback and metrics to your lead
* Collaborate effectively with a range of teams and stakeholders internally
Skills and experience
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
* Over 3 years of experience as an in-house people ops practitioner across multiple time zones
* Tenure in a tech or digital media startup, preferably with over 100 employees
* Demonstrable experience handling and supporting the day-to-day people operations activities, systems and initiatives during the employee lifecycle
* Experience delivering feedback reports and metrics to the line manager
* Strong English communication skills and interpersonal skills permeated by diplomacy, and a collaborative style
* Organised, with the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks effectively at the same time
* Ability to work at pace in rapid growth and changing environments i essential while maintaining accuracy and quality under pressure
* A can-do attitude with a curious mind and passion for learning
* CIPD qualification with a level 3 minimum, or similar accredited qualification
* Other languages apart from English
* Experience of working across multiple jurisdictions will be a plus
* Tech-savvy with a passion for AI enablement in a people function
