Job position
Collaboration in the project “Ensembles: Music and the Sciences in Global Context, 17th-20th centuries”. Study, diagnosis, cataloguing, and dissemination of funds related to the history of music and emotions in the 17th-18th centuries within the Luso-Hispanic context.
Responsibilities include searching and classifying primary and secondary sources, creating and maintaining the project website, disseminating results through various channels, and supporting dissemination activities.
Required skills include mastery of Spanish and English; Catalan is advisable.
Salary: 12,995.84 € gross annually, plus additional campus allowances and other supplements.
Eligibility Criteria:
* Master's/PhD in History of Science or related disciplines; studies in Musicology (undergraduate).
* Basic office automation skills; handling audio software.
* Research experience in the history of science and musicology.
* Adaptability, willingness to learn, and availability to travel.
* Knowledge of Latin American music and instruments, musical notation, and composition; familiarity with musical instruments is desirable.
* Academic record: 40 points (details include higher university degree, specific degrees, and research support in relevant fields).
