What your work will consist of?
The IT Success Factors Support Expert ensures the stable operation, service quality, and continuous improvement of the SAP Success Factors landscape from an IT perspective while enabling HR to deliver efficient, compliant, and employee‐centric people processes. This role bridges IT and HR, safeguards system integrity, supports the digital HR strategy, and ensures that technology effectively enables workforce planning, talent development, and organizational performance.
End‐to‐End IT Service Ownership of the Entire Success Factors Platform

Ensure the stable, secure, and high‐quality operation of the full SAP Success Factors suite all environments, covering all implemented modules such as Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Learning, Succession & Development, and any additional Talent or HR Core components. Oversee the full-service lifecycle, continuously monitor system performance, and coordinate efficient incidents, problems, and request resolution following ITIL service management practices.
Ensures a reliable global HR technology ecosystem that supports critical moments in the employee lifecycle.

Platform Administration, Configuration & Governance

Manage and supervise all functional and technical configuration elements across the platform, including data models, role‐based permissions, foundation objects, workflows, and module‐specific settings. Ensure that configuration aligns with global HR processes, internal IT governance frameworks, and architectural standards while maintaining consistency and compliance across modules and regions.
Guarantees that HR's global and local processes are consistently reflected in the system, minimizing errors, rework, and compliance risks.

Release & Change Management for Quarterly Updates
Evaluate quarterly SAP Success Factors releases with a deep understanding of impacts across all modules. Lead regression testing, coordinate UAT with HR process owners, manage defect resolution, and ensure smooth, controlled, and compliant promotion of changes into production. Provide clear documentation of release impacts and maintain a robust change‐control process.

Integration & Interface Management Across the HR Ecosystem
Oversee all inbound and outbound integrations involving Success Factors, SAP HCM, payroll systems, identity management, time & attendance platforms, and other downstream HR/IT applications. Monitor interface stability and data quality, troubleshoot integration failures, and coordinate with technical teams to ensure reliable, real‐time or batch‐based data exchange.

Security, Data Privacy & Compliance (incl. GDPR/DSGVO)
Enforce accurate role-based access, maintain authorization standards across modules, and ensure strict compliance with GDPR/DSGVO and internal data‐protection guidelines. Support audit cycles with documentation, evidence collection, and remediation actions. Guarantee that all system operations and integrations adhere to corporate IT security requirements.

SAP HCM to Success Factors Migration Roadmap & Implementation Support

Contribute expertise to the design and execution of transformation roadmaps transitioning from SAP HCM on‐premise to Success Factors. Support data migration planning, module deployment sequencing, process harmonization, and solution design. Collaborate with project teams to ensure a seamless and technically sound migration aligned with long‐term HR technology strategy.
Enables HR to transition into a modern, cloud‐based, scalable talent and people operations environment.

Continuous Improvement & Service Optimization
Proactively identify enhancement opportunities across configuration, integrations, workflows, and support processes. Drive improvements that increase platform stability, optimize HR operations, reduce manual effort, and elevate overall employee experience. Provide recommendations for roadmap evolution and digital HR innovation.

Cross‐Functional Collaboration & Technical Advisory Role

Act as the key technical liaison between IT, HR, external partners, and implementation teams. Translate business requirements into feasible, scalable system solutions and provide expert advice across all Success Factors modules. Communicate system changes and impacts clearly to stakeholders and ensure technical decisions align with business strategy and operational excellence.
Strengthens the partnership between HR and IT, ensuring that technology choices actively support people's strategy and organizational development.

What is the profile required?

Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, IT, or related field
Minimum 5+ years of experience as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) expert, supporting SAP HCM → Success Factors migration initiatives and after maintenance.
Deep experience administering and supporting the full SAP Success Factors suite, preferably with all the modules.
Strong understanding of integration technologies: SAP CPI, APIs, SFTP, SAP BTP components, and identity technologies via Entra ID (Azure AD) and IAS/IPS.
Experience supporting SAP HCM → Success Factors migration initiatives and after maintenance.
Familiarity with IT Service Management frameworks (ITIL).
Strong understanding of GDPR/DSGVO and secure handling of sensitive HR data.

Preferred Certifications:

SAP Success Factors Associate Certifications (EC, Recruiting, Onboarding, PMGM, Compensation, Learning, Succession & Development).
SAP BTP / SAP Integration Suite (C_CPI) Certification.
ITIL Foundation Certification.
Microsoft Identity / Entra ID Certifications (e.g., Identity & Access Administrator).
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex HR/IT environment.
Excellent communication skills in English (written & spoken) – C1 ; German or Spanish is an advantage.
Adaptability, flexibility, and strong intercultural sensitivity.
Cross‐cultural collaboration, with the ability to manage and coordinate with diverse stakeholders across GDELS. This includes maintaining timely and appropriate communication with requesters, the business, and various stakeholders, while coordinating effectively with other IT areas and teams.
Proactive mindset with a natural ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, matrixed organization, prioritizing work efficiently.
Independent self-starter, with a strong sense of accountability and mindset of high quality results.
