At ORTEC ENGINEERING SPAIN, we are strengthening our senior technical teams to support Airbus Working Party activities within civil aviation programmes.
We are looking for a Technical Solution Manager (TSM) with strong experience in CAMO and MRO environments, capable of defining and coordinating technical solutions during on-site Working Party interventions across major Airbus fleets.
The selected candidate will act as the technical focal point between the operator, CAMO, MRO and OEM engineering teams, ensuring that all technical solutions are compliant, efficient and aligned with airworthiness requirements.
Job Description
As a Technical Solution Manager (TSM), your responsibilities will include:
* Acting as the technical authority on-site during Working Party interventions.
* Defining, assessing and coordinating technical solutions for complex maintenance findings and operational issues.
* Supporting troubleshooting and proposing repair strategies in accordance with Airbus documentation (AMM, SRM, SB, repairs, concessions, ADs).
* Ensuring compliance with EASA Part-145 and Part-CAMO regulations.
* Evaluating the impact of findings on airworthiness and operational continuity.
* Coordinating with Airbus engineering, CAMO and MRO stakeholders to validate repair schemes and corrective actions.
* Providing structured technical reporting and ensuring proper closure of actions.
* Managing technical risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
Profile
We are looking for professionals with:
* Proven experience in CAMO and/or MRO environments within civil aviation.
* Solid exposure to Airbus platforms: A380, A350, A320 Family and A330 Family.
* Strong knowledge of EASA regulatory framework (Part-145, Part-CAMO, Continuing Airworthiness).
* Experience in Working Party, AOG or field technical support environments.
* Strong analytical and decision-making skills in operational contexts.
* Ability to interact with multi-stakeholder technical environments.
* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capability.
* Fluent English (written and spoken).
* Availability for national and international travel.
Valuable Additional Skills
* Previous experience in OEM technical support roles.
* Engineering degree or strong technical aircraft systems background.
* Experience managing complex repairs and structural/mechanical findings.
Job Requirements
* The position may be based on site at Airbus facilities (e.g. Teruel, Toulouse, or other locations), working directly within the customer environment.
* Candidates must provide an updated CV together with relevant qualifications and certifications.
