Your mission as a QA Automation Engineer at PropHero, you will be the guardian of product quality—designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks that ensure our platform is stable, scalable, and delightful to use. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to define testing strategies, write robust automated tests, and integrate quality checks into our CI/CD pipelines. You’ll champion a culture of quality across the team, proactively identifying potential issues before they impact our customers, and continuously improving our testing processes with modern tools and AI-driven approaches. Test Automation Development: Build, maintain, and improve automated test frameworks for web, mobile (Flutter), and backend (Node.Js) services. Quality Strategy : Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality gates for releases. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring rapid, reliable feedback on code quality. Defect Prevention & Analysis: Performance & Security Testing: Implement automated performance, load, and basic security tests to ensure scalability and resilience. Research, propose, and adopt new testing tools, frameworks, and AI-driven solutions to increase coverage and efficiency. Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in QA automation engineering. Proficiency with modern test automation frameworks ( e.G., Playwright, Cypress, Appium ) with a proven track record of building, maintaining, and scaling robust test suites. Hands-on experience testing complex, distributed systems across web, mobile,, and backend (RESTful APIs). Deep practical knowledge of testing methodologies, the software development lifecycle, and best practices in quality assurance. General Skills: Strong understanding of system architecture and the ability to design comprehensive, scalable, and maintainable test strategies. Proactive and autonomous, with excellent communication skills for collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers in a global, distributed team.
