As we continue to scale and strengthen our footprint in the Iberia marketplace, we are looking for an experienced professional, business-driven and hands-on General Manager in Iberia to succeed and drive the next chapter of our growth.
What you will do As the GM Iberia, you will have end-to-end P&L; ownership and full strategic responsibility for the cluster.
You will balance high-level strategic clarity with operational execution, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth while acting as the bridge between the local market and our integral headquarters in Germany.
Key responsibilities: Full business & financial ownership: Manage the entire business entity at the Iberia cluster level, with deep ownership of the P&L;, budgeting, forecasting and the balance sheet to ensure long-term financial health in cooperation with the function leaders.
C-Level reporting and support : Act as the key stakeholder for the region, directly reporting performance, market insights and strategic updates to the Group's C-level executives on a regular basis.
HQ Collaboration & Alignment: Work closely and collaboratively with central group departments – including logistics, operations, product, finance, print, IT...
- to align local execution with a global strategy.
Commercial Team Leadership: Directly lead, mentor and drive the local commercial team to maximize performance across Teamsales, B2 B and retail models.
Value Chain Oversight : Oversee the complete teamwear and merchandising value chain, integrating licensing, customization and embellishment processes into the commercial model.
Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and strengthen long-term relationships with global brands, top clubs, federations, leagues and licensing partners.
What we are looking for: We need a dynamic leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong business acumen, and a solid background in corporate management who understands how to run a business based on performance.
Professional Background: Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
MBA prefered.
Proven Leadership: Solid experience managing and developing high-performing teams, specifically leading commercial/sales teams.
Industry Expertise: Strong experience in Team Sports business ideally within the Sporting Goods or Sports Industry.
Financial Expertise: Strong financial literacy;
ability to fully understand, analyze, and manage P&L; statements and Balance Sheets.
International & Matrix Experience: Proven track record working in highly international and cross-functional environments, managing relationships with central/corporate functions.
Languages: Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory, as you will interact constantly with the Group's international departments and C-level.
Native Spanish speaker.
