Project Engineer
to join our office in
Barcelona, Spain
We seek an engineer with project management experience, either in a client or consulting firm, to actively participate in a wide range of projects, from small improvements to large industrial constructions. The role involves managing multiple project phases and specializations, including:
1. Strategic Consulting: project master planning, conceptual engineering.
2. Project Feasibility: process description, plant layout, overall schedule, procurement strategy, financial planning.
3. Project Preparation: investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing, procurement.
4. Project Realization: project management, detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and operational management.
The Project Manager Engineer will deliver high-quality services within the agreed budget and timeline.
We are looking for an engineer with experience leading industrial projects from planning to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Management & Communication: act as the primary contact, ensuring clear communication; present progress reports and improvement recommendations.
2. Project Planning & Execution: develop schedules, define milestones, monitor progress, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and lead project teams.
3. Budget & Cost Management: manage budgets between €2M and €30M, optimize costs while maintaining quality.
4. Engineering & Technical Oversight: oversee projects involving new production lines, packaging, feasibility studies; interface with various teams to align goals.
5. Compliance & Risk Management: ensure safety, quality, and industry compliance; identify and mitigate risks; experience with permitting and procurement is advantageous.
Requirements:
* 3-6 years of relevant experience in industrial projects, preferably in Food, Beverages, Engineering, or Life Sciences sectors.
* Fluency in Spanish and English; French or German is a plus.
* Knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD; valid Driver’s License B.

Based in Barcelona, with up to 80% travel as needed.
