The Role's Key Responsibilities and Tasks
As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges, and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers.
As a Lead Engineer in the Customer eXperience vertical, you will be in charge of:
* Working with a top-notch tech stack including Java 17, BigData (Kafka, BigTable, Redis, PostgreSQL), LLMs, Datamesh, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud, Sonarqube, and Datadog.
* Collaborating with Product, Business, Architecture, Data Science to shape the technical strategy and evolution of the Payments domain.
* Defining the technical strategy for your modules and ensuring their optimal performance.
* Helping your team translate functional specifications into high-performance logical technical designs and code, splitting work into smaller tasks that add quick value to customers.
* Promoting standards of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
* Leading a high-performing, cross-functional agile team of 7-10 experienced software engineers and developers.
* Participating in talent acquisition, onboarding new team members, and fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and growth.
* Managing performance, setting goals, and prioritizing work for your team, balancing capacity.
* Establishing a sense of identity, engagement, and belonging within your team, improving team dynamics in collaboration with an agile coach.
* Acting as a mentor to help others develop their skills and careers.

* Experience with AI tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI-powered coding assistants.
* Curiosity and eagerness to explore and integrate emerging AI solutions.
* Ability to leverage AI tools for debugging, development, and productivity.
* Enthusiasm for continuous learning and adapting to new AI features.
* Experience or interest in collaborating with AI as "pair programmers".
